President Update
We’re closing up on a month into our build season and we have done some great work! Thank you for showing up and working hard at all of our meetings! Remember that build season is not a sprint but a marathon! We have a lot to do in the next month, but make sure you are prioritizing sleep and your personal health. Leading into competition season, we will need a lot of parent support with providing food, transportation and chaperoning. Please come to our competition planning meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 6pm. Attendance is HIGHLY recommended.
Finally, remember to come to our Habit Fundraiser on February 18th and show your FalconX Pride! Stay strong as we go into the next month of build season.
Special Visitors to our Workshop this Saturday
Congressman Mark DeSaulnier and Supervisor Ken Carlson stopped by the Robotics Club! They both toured our workspace, engaged with students about the engineering process and the importance of hands-on STEM learning. The team demonstrated their current competition robot and shared their goals for the upcoming season. We appreciate that they stopped by and talked to us.

Division Update
Mechanical Update
Hardware integration is nearing completion. This week, we finalized the bumper and climber mounts and successfully validated our feeding mechanism through several test cycles. To ensure easier transport and field setup, ergonomic handles have also been installed.
Electrical Update
A month in and everything is going very well! Electrical has finally begun wiring Suboptimois Prime. It has been a quick process so far, and we expect to have everything completed and powered up very soon!
Programming Update
The Programming team is focused on establishing the “brain” of the robot. We are currently developing the command structures for the intake, shooter, and climbing mechanisms to ensure seamless driver control and reliable performance during matches.
Business Update
The business team is actively expanding our outreach and fundraising efforts. We are currently preparing for several local STEM fairs and finalizing next month’s fundraiser while continuing to drive momentum for our current campaigns. On the creative front, we have officially finished this year’s competition shirt logo and are now focusing on designing custom buttons to distribute at our upcoming events.
